Built for Two Kinds of Letter

Corporate Reorganizations Step Letters

Preparing and reviewing step letters involves many steps, from client meetings to gathering source information. Drafting the letter in Word is inefficient, tedious, and error-prone. A structured solution can be faster, easier, and more accurate, producing a letter that is 100% customizable to your organizational needs.

Tax Advisory/Discussion Letters

Advisory letters often repeat the same content: answers to the same questions, where templated explanations make up the bulk of the letter with minor customization for a client's particular circumstance.

Before & After

Today

Manually edit a Word document from a company template, or edit a previous letter. Time is wasted figuring out what to keep, what to change, and what to add. Content has to be changed by hand in multiple places. Reviewers have to confirm every section is correct, including required firm content that never changes but may be outdated because the preparer started from a years-old past letter.

With Renshi

A structured environment with controls for repetitive data entry, error-checking, and guidance for quick editing, plus firm-controlled content that is easily updated when needed. The Word document comes out exactly as expected, every time, and is still fully editable if necessary.

Key Benefits

More Engagements With the Same Staff

More efficient use of time allows more projects to be undertaken and more client engagements to be completed.

Institutional Knowledge Reusable

Static templated sections, easily accessible and easily updated by the firm, result in faster, more accurate execution.

Client Data Stays Inside Your Firewall

Self-hosted, with client information never leaving your network.

One-Time Investment, Not a Subscription You're Stuck With

Full source code is provided so you make changes as you need them, as if your firm created it in-house.

Intuitive Design, Minimal Training

Easy to understand out of the box. No expensive, time-consuming training or onboarding. Ready to use with minimal guidance.

Faster Preparation, More Efficient Review Process

Numbers cannot drift between sections and firm-approved content cannot be silently dropped, so reviewers spend less time hunting for errors.

Trust & Security

Where does my client data live?

Inside your firewall, on your server, in a single embedded database file backed up daily. No cloud, no telemetry, no outbound calls at runtime.

Can our preparers use this without training?

Yes. A preparer can fully understand the program from the short videos in our FAQ, with no long training sessions or hand-holding. The layout is designed for efficient data entry: they already know the parts of the letter, now they just have an easy way to edit them.

More in FAQ (Category B)

How does the review process work?

Every relevant page has an R1 and an R2 checkbox, for up to two reviewers. Preparers cannot check or uncheck the boxes, and if a box is checked but content on the page is then edited, the checkbox is unchecked automatically, guaranteeing no change slipped onto a reviewed page.

Does this replace professional judgment?

No. The tool replaces inefficient typing and editing, not thinking. Tax decisions remain the practitioner's; the tool removes the drift and inconsistency that comes from manual transcription.

Why isn't this a SaaS subscription?

Firms have enough long-term contracts and subscriptions they are stuck with, for products that never fully meet their needs. Providing the source code with full rights to change or add features gives a firm full in-house control of a software solution that matches its specific workflow.

What It's Worth

Add up the time wasted across all your reorganizations when a finished letter reaches a reviewer or partner and gets sent back, the hours spent making the changes in the letter, then re-reviewing it. Or the number of times you send multiple clients the same explanation of the principal residence exemption, or of how their cottage could also qualify as a principal residence. Multiply that by the number of engagements you run each year.

Pricing

One-time perpetual license. Starts at $995 + HST for a solo practitioner. Tier scope and pricing are in the FAQ below (Category J), or message us for the right tier for your firm.
